What is God doing in You?

I am excited about what God is doing in me. I am excited about what God is doing in our church. From time to time I will come to you and give you a chance to speak to me. I wonder what God is doing in you. Are you willing to share the experiences you are having with Him. My prayer is that He is challenging you to grow, that He is stretching you at this time. That is what He is doing in me. At Friendship, the Lord has been speaking to us about being His masterpiece and workmanship. Alot of people struggle because they don't understand who they are in Christ and what it means to be in Christ. I am so thankful for not only what God is doing, but for those who are allowing Him to do the work. If you get a chance today leave a comment and testify to what God is doing. God bless

  1. I know that my faith in the Lord is and continues to become stronger than ever. And although I must admit I still struggle with letting go of all the worry and stress of how we will manage financially, I know that the when the Lord is ready for me to go back to work, He will put the right opportunity in my path, and until then He continues to provide.

I have also had to let go of some things from my past that made me harbor ill will against others. I will be honest THAT was hard and took a long time, but God brought me through it, and now I think at some point in the future with Friendship He will have me use my experiences to help others. But I would not have been able to understand their hurt had I not been there myself.

I was hurt and angry when my first marriage ended. And although I still hate that it had to hurt my children, I thank God. Because of that, I met Mike who introduced me to Rhonda and David, who introduced me to Friendship, who has given me a relationship with God that I have never had. All of that was God's plan, and I thank Him.

  2. This is Doreen not Thomas. I thank God every day for the love and understanding that he has for me. I know that some days I fall short of what he expects of me, but I know that he still loves me. I am so thankful for him bringing Thomas into my life. He is not only my husband but he is my best friend. We both want to have a closer relationship with God; therefore, we set time aside every night to do bible study and prayer. It has brought us closer to God and to each other. I also thank God for Pastor Lee and Friendship. I thank God for two wonderful children who I love with all my heart and for the wonderful family I married into. I love Jordan like she is my own grandaughter. When I lost my Mom this year it was very hard but I know that God has her up there with him and that I will see her again one day. My Mama always said that she was blessed. Now I understand what she meant.

  3. Here lately, God's been putting a greater passion and love in my heart for the youth. I look forward to hanging out with them, and I'm excited about what God's doing in their lives, and what He's gonna do! He's really put a passion in my heart for my Sunday School class too. I look forward to teaching every week. Also, I've been thinking a lot about God's love and grace. I believe that we are truly free when we know and believe the love God has for us. I've struggled for a long time with feeling down and defeated because of my own shortcomings. But I believe God's trying to help me live in the freedom that He loves and accepts me because I'm His child, and not because of how I'm measuring up. I'll never be perfect, but my Savior IS, and it's in HIM that I'm accepted by God. Thank God for His love and grace! I love you JESUS!!!!!
